Undercover Lyft

Role: Art Director, Executive Producer

Through Lyft’s partnership with Major League Baseball, our team had the opportunity to create video content with Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs in the summer of 2013. We realized that the rookie sensation had a lot of name recognition in the Chicago area, but that his face might not be so recognizable. So we filmed a lightly disguised Bryant giving Lyft rides to unsuspecting passengers and the hilarity that ensued. This sparked the idea for Undercover Lyft.

The objectives of the series were to give potential and existing passengers other ways to get to know Lyft's brand persona, highlight the memorable in-car aspect of the Lyft experience and collaborate with celebrities that embody Lyft's DNA. The video was an organic and earned media hit (more than 100MM views to date), and Lyft went on to produce more than a dozen additional episodes with pop culture icons Chance the Rapper, Shaquille O’Neal, Demi Lovato, Odell Beckham Jr., Alicia Keys, Rob Gronkowski, Danica Patrick, DJ Khaled and more.
